*Market begins: Colonial Day - July 3, 2009- Join us at the market as we kick off the 4th of July weekend. Special guests will include Blue Slope Museum, the Historical Society and the Farmers Cow to name a few. Also there will be Colonial reenactors and demonstrations. So come out with the whole family to go grazing in Baaazrah and start your holiday weekend off with a bang!
Dairy Day - August 7, 2009 Come join us at the market as Daisy the Cow comes out take photos with the kids. Come get a look at a calf up close and see a milking goat. The CT Farm Bureau and CT Dairy Industry Council will be our special guests that evening along with The Farmers Cow. Post-Poned to September 18th, 2009 due to Weather Peace of Pie Day - September 11, 2009 Peace of Pie Day is inspired by the 9-11-01 event in remember those that we lost that day and what is more American than apple pie. Special Guests that night will include the Bozrah Fire Department, the CT Department of Agriculture's Farm to School program and Albert the Apple will be walking around the Market taking pictures with the kids. We will also have a special "Piece of Pie" table that the Friends of Maples Farm Park will be selling pieces of apple pie to benefit the Park's Homestead Improvement Fund.
